Elaf Gassam founded Negma in 2013 and is Executive Chairman of the Board with over 15 years’ experience in global finance and industrial projects. Elaf is responsible for the overall strategic direction and promotion of the Negma Group.
As Managing Partner of Negma, François is responsible for developing and setting goals for the organization, as well as supporting Negma’s market strategy, client relationship, innovation, and process.
Prior to joining Negma, François was responsible for the Equity Capital Markets activity of KPMG Corporate Finance. François brings more than twenty years of ECM, financing solutions, and M&A experience from leading investment banks and exchanges in addition to a large network of small, mid and large cap listed companies.
Anthony is the CIO and a founding partner of Negma Group.
He began his career in corporate finance in London and Munich, before transitioning to consulting and private equity in Paris and Senegal. There, he worked on several renewable energy infrastructure projects in West Africa. Anthony studied Economic and Law at the University of Bath, and Economics and Finance at Sciences Po Paris.
Rodolfo Galbiati is the fund manager of Negma group and is responsible for structuring financing products across all sectors focusing on the Italian and Swiss market.
Prior to joining Negma, Rodolfo worked as a Quantitative Analyst and Credit Analyst across different funds in Europe. Rodolfo holds and MSc in Finance from Edhec Business School in Nice and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
As Director of Negma, Roberto is responsible for the equity Capital Markets activity of Negma in Italy. Roberto has a top-notched expertise in capital markets having assisted for more than twenty years some of the most important Italian industrial and financial groups in relation to a variety of equity transactions. Prior to joining Negma, Roberto was the Partner responsible for the Equity Capital Markets activity of Hogan Lovells in Italy and the General Counsel of a Swiss Bank. Roberto holds a Law Degree from the University of Pisa and an LL.M. from New York University – School of Law.
As a Managing Director of Negma, Karim oversees the different proprietary trading activities of Negma Group. He co-founded the Quantitative Trading Fund of Negma Group to take advantage of the financial markets with the use of mathematics and cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative trading algorithms across multiple markets and asset classes.
Karim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Science in Engineering for which he studied data sciences, information systems, architecture, and software development and holds a Master of Science in Finance for which he specialized in market finance.
Sarah is the Director of Venture Capital and began her career as an entrepreneur in Jordan, building ventures in entertainment, f&b, and digital consumer products. Prior to joining Negma, Sarah worked with Crescent Enterprises in the UAE, developing new ventures and making venture capital investments.
During her time in Silicon Valley, Sarah consulted for a Menlo Park based VC.
As an Equity Capital Markets Associate, Sophie builds and maintains client relationships with French and American companies of Negma’s portfolio from first discussions to post-funding strategic development.
Prior to joining Negma, Sophie worked for 5 years at France Biotech where she was responsible for leading international B2B projects to help entrepreneurs develop and grow their SMEs. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Corporate Marketing & Communication from Ascencia Business School, a certification of Business Administration delivered by Barry University (Florida) and one in Corporate Finance delivered by HEC (Paris).
As an Equity Capital Markets Associate, Aurora manages the research investment in the Nordic region identifying high-growth business which meet Negma’s investment criteria.
Prior to joining Negma, Aurora worked in business development within the MedTech sector. Aurora holds an MSc in Business Administration and Innovation in Health Care from Copenhagen Business School.
As Head of Proprietary Trading, Aditya is responsible for research and discretionary trading across multiple asset classes, including equities, options, and indices for the group.
Prior to Negma, he worked at several brokerage firms, family offices and multi-strategy proprietary trading firms, focusing on research, analytics, execution and risk management. Aditya holds a master’s degree in Applied Finance from the University of Wollongong, Australia, with a focus in Investments.
